Roman is a proud American, Latino father, and the first Latino ever to run for Congress in Illinois’ 14th District. The son of an immigrant mother who crossed the border seeking a better life, Roman is a whistleblower and labor advocate who understands the struggles working families face – because he’s lived them. Raised on SNAP, Medicaid, and WIC, he grew up with firsthand experience of economic hardship. With a background in HR, staffing, and compliance, Roman has fought for workers’ rights, union jobs, and fair treatment on the job. Now, he’s running for Congress to deliver affordable healthcare, protect rural hospitals, safeguard Social Security and Disability Rights, and make government work for the people -not just the wealthy and well-connected. He stands for truth, fairness, and opportunity for all.
I’m not here to play politics. I’m here to fight for an America that leads with empathy, not fear -with strength, not cruelty. An America where community beats chaos, and compassion is power.
Disagreements don’t make us enemies, they make us stronger when we face them with courage. I will fight for a future where our shared struggles are met with real solutions, not soundbites and where no one is left behind.
This is a movement grounded in hope but driven by grit. I’m running to win not just an election, but a better future for all of us.
I’m running for Congress with a mission rooted in lived experience, fueled by hope, and committed to action.
I don’t believe most Americans are hard-left or hard-right. We are human. We are parents, workers, dreamers. We want safety, opportunity, and dignity. We want to be heard and we deserve leaders who will listen.
No one should ever have to choose between their health and their home. No parent should have to drive over an hour to deliver their baby because their local hospital shut down due to budget cuts. No senior, no child, no working parent should skip medication or treatment because they simply can’t afford it.
Healthcare in America has become a profit machine -when it should be a promise.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw something rare in American politics: proof that government can work for the people when there’s the will to act. Rental assistance, mortgage relief, utility subsidies -these programs didn’t just help families survive a crisis, they proved what’s possible when we prioritize human dignity over corporate profits.
This isn’t about being “pro-police” or “anti-police” it’s about being pro-community, pro-safety, and pro-accountability. We need a law enforcement system that upholds justice, earns public trust, and reflects the values of respect and service.
Grant citizenship to DREAMers, fund the border with more judges and tech, and protect families from trauma; not just with walls, but with dignity and due process.
Fund public schools first, not private agendas. Support homeschool families with equal access to taxpayer-funded resources. Invest in teachers, universal Pre-K, and debt-free higher education.
I’m Roman: a dad, American, and a whistleblower who got fired for standing up for workers.
I was born in Aurora and raised across local counties: Kendall, DuPage, LaSalle, on WIC, SNAP, and Medicaid, watching my single mom grind every day after crossing El Rio Grande to give us a shot at the American Dream. I’ve worked in warehouses, HR offices, and with small businesses across Illinois; I’ve seen how corporate greed crushes workers while billionaires profit.
I’m not a career politician. I’m a fighter.
I’ve saved my home from foreclosure, driven hours for spinal injections, and wife delivered our baby far from home because our local OBGYN department shut down. That’s the cost of broken leadership and I’m running for Congress to fix it.
I stand for:
Employee-Union power, and fair wages
Rural hospitals and real healthcare – including dental and vision
Legal cannabis, not broken promises
Protect and expand Disability Rights
Protecting SNAP, school lunches, and family farms
No problem to expose the truth, now I’m taking it to Washington. Let’s build a government that actually fights for working families.
No filters. No bullshit. Just real change.
Cannabis legal, no promesas rotas
Solo cambio real.
